While it seems ridiculous, and that commercial tells you all you need to know about it, the sandwich was successful. The only reason it was phased out was because McDonald’s moved away from the polystyrene packaging. The Styrofoam type material had bad PR and that’s why you see it a LOT less than us children of the 1980s did.
I was glad to see the Styrofoam packaging go. It didn’t absorb your french fry grease like the cardboard containers do. I do miss the days when people danced in the streets over burgers, though.
They do still dance in the street when the dry cleaner gets the mustard out. They got the mustard out!!!!
Oh man…why’d you have to go and do that? Now I’m going to have to listen to that soundtrack all day…on repeat.
Oh like its such a horrible thing to listen to. I might queue it up on Netflix.
