Its the final issue of The Death Princess and just in time because Charismagic Volume 2 has been extraordinary.  The Death Princess is no slouch either though and its best for readers of the main Charismagic title to get very familiar with her.

There are so many parts to this tale and important characters that its almost too much for one issue.  The good and extremely powerful magician, Kon, shows strength in the face of certain defeat.  His character is without equal in the world of Charismagic.  When super heroes make headlines for cold blooded killing its refreshing to see heroism in a comic for the sole reason that it is the right thing to do.

However the true star of this series has been the Death Princess herself, Orlana.  She controls armies, leads all in battle, and thanks to Emilio Lopez is beautifully drawn during every moment of power.  Orlana is absolutely terrifying but with art this good its tough to turn away from her.  Then there is Samsun.  Those who read the first volume of Charismagic know all about him but to see his beginnings is one of the most enjoyable parts of the series.  Samsun becomes a richer character in this issue and it was all done under the tease that this whole series would be about the Death Princess.  Nice work Vince.
