The Closest Thing Ever to a WACKY RACES Movie.

Found this online today:

And some history:

Director Antoine Bardou-Jacquet breathes life into the 1960s cartoon classic Wacky Races for Peugeot’s new 208 hatchback.

Young & Rubicam Brasil teamed up with Partizan, Movie & ArtDick, ETC and The Mill to create this live action take on Wacky Races. Dastardly teams up with traditional characters from the cartoon to thwart the innocent Peugeot driver. While he and the Slag Brothers, the Anthill Mob, Red Max and Sergeant Blast – among others – endure collisions, explosions and more, our driver nimbly outwits them at every turn.

Finally breaking free of them thanks to the car’s unstoppability, he gets to claim his prize in the form of his very own Penelope Pitstop who has broken down by the side of the road. A sniggering Muttley is left behind as they zoom off towards a future. Mill Colourist Mick Vincent who graded the spot comments, “The difficulty with grading this spot was that the weather was different in every shot but its always great to have a challenge- the Wacky Races element also really brought back memories of my youth!”
