Overnight the story broke that WWE has removed all references to Hulk Hogan.  All pictures, all links, he’s off of Tough Enough.  Everything.  But why?

Then it started to trickle out.  He said something racist.  An interview surfaced in which Hogan uses the N word as part of a larger conversation where he told the origin of his catchphrase “Brother”.  While the word is used a lot, it is not once used in a racist way.  A lot of heat for nothing.

Except that’s not the interview.

The audio will come out later today but some of the text is already out.  Here are some of the worst lines in it:

“AN UPPITY, HALF-BREED NI**ER UNDESERVING OF HIS SUCCESS”

“AN UNTALENTED, NO-GOOD SHIT TALKING SAMBO”

Also:

“I NEVER LIKED HAVING TO WRESTLE WITH ANYBODY WHO WASN’T WHITE”

This is very very bad for Hogan.  And for the WWE.
