Over at The Retro Network I write a column on the best retro themed comics coming out this month. While reading through hundreds of pages of the Previews catalog I find many many other comics I want to buy for myself. New, continuing, curious, cool, whatever it might be. These aren’t reviews but just a list of what I think looked cool this month. Hopefully I’ll get to some of them. If I average each issue at four dollars, times the number of comics that looked interesting this month I would have to spend … $140. Maybe more for variant covers, then if I had the free money I also have to throw in the next Previews, other magazines, graphic novels, back issues and more. I would probably be up to $200 for the month.
Thankfully whether I’m spending two dollars or two hundred, I have a great local comic shop, Ravenswood Comics in New Hartford, NY. Check out their site, follow them on Facebook and Instagram, and if you’re ever in the Central New York area stop in the store to buy some stuff.
So here is what I am interested in that comes out this January.
