WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Predictions.

The pre show is happening now. The main show starts at 7. This show which usually has huge WrestleMania implications feels a bit light this year. But there is lots of potential for excitement tonight. Let’s take a look at who I predict will win and why.

The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins.

When the hell did this get added? Seriously, an hour ago it wasn’t an announced match. The Raiders just lost the tag team titles and the Major Brothers haven’t had a win since they won those titles at last year’s ‘Mania, right? Either way, one team is currently in a story on Raw and one runs out to protect Beth Phoenix long after Randy Orton has walked away.

Winners: Viking Raiders.

Daniel Bryan vs. Drew Gulak.

Match of the night and maybe the year potential. I have no idea where this Drew story is going, but I’m into it. Maybe he and Bryan team up and win the Smackdown belts along the way. Would be a good way to get on the ‘Mania card. Or maybe this is the start of a faction. No matter where the story goes, I don’t see tonight being the end of it.

Winner: Daniel Bryan, but it will be a close match that elevates Gulak.

Andrade (US Champion) vs. Humberto Carrillo.

Speaking of close matches full of elevation. I don’t know what Paul Heyman is doing with his Mexican talent story, but by the time it’s all over he will have made multiple stars and this whole angle will be looked at as a classic. I don’t think tonight is the night for Humberto, but his night is coming.

Winner: Andrade.

Aleister Black vs. AJ Styles. No DQ match.

Lot of rumors and speculation surrounding this one. Both men need to look strong. AJ is possibly facing Undertaker at WrestleMania. Black just needs to not lose momentum. The O.C. could be involved at any time. Plenty of other guys who have issues with them that could run into this match at any time. My current guess is the Undertaker either physically or symbolically causes AJ to lose. This helps Black look strong and takes nothing away from AJ. Then gives him momentum going into that feud.

Winner: Aleister Black.

The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) (RAW tag team champions) vs. Seth Rollins and Murphy.

The Street Profits just won the title. I don’t know what Seth Rollins is doing at ‘Mania but I don’t see it being a tag team match. This calls for a screwy finish.

Winners: Seth Rollins and Murphy, but in a way where the Street Profits keep the titles.

The Miz and John Morrison (Smackdown tag team champions) vs. The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) vs. The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) vs. Heavy Machinery (Otis and Tucker) vs. Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik) vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

Elimination Chamber match.  Ziggler and Roode enter last.

This comes down to Miz and Morrison, Heavy Machinery, and Ziggler and Roode. Ziggler and Roode steal the win and the titles. They face Heavy Machinery at WrestleMania which becomes Otis-Mania.

Winners and new champions: Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

Braun Strowman (Intercontinental champion) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro, and Sami Zayn.

3 on 1 match for the title. Braun really should not steam roll through all three of these guys. It’s a disservice to them all. He probably will. But, and my hope, what if Sami sneaks in and gets the victory. Sami as chicken heel runs his mouth and is Intercontinental champion is money. He has his group to back him up and save his title. That’s a story that can run at least until ‘Mania if not longer.

Winner and new champion: Sami Zayn.

Natalya vs. Liv Morgan vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka vs. Ruby Riott vs. Sarah Logan.

Elimination Chamber match. Winner faces Raw Women’s champion (currently Becky Lynch) at WrestleMania.

Most likely the night Shayna is crowned heir apparent. I would love to be surprised here. My fantasy booking is to have the Riott Squad swerve everyone and team up to win this thing. Alas…

Winner: Shayna Baszler.

Not on the card: Raw champion Brock Lesnar, Raw number one contender Drew McIntyre, Smackdown champion Goldberg, Smackdown number one contender Roman Reigns, The Fiend, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, King Corbin, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Smackdown women’s champion Bayley, Sasha Banks, Rey Mysterio, Ricochet, Alexa Bliss, John Cena, Sheamus, and a ton more but these were men and women featured recently that now have nothing going on on what should be a big event.

What are your guesses for tonight? Let me know.
