Welcome to my spoiler filled quick review of wrestling shows. This episode of AEW Dark is almost a week old, but many people skip the show. Sure, it’s a lot of squash matches meant to showcase AEW talent that was not on Dynamite that week. Another way to look at this is an independent show with future stars. Some of these men and women have tons of potential.

Colt Cabana defeats Sean Dean. Fun match. I haven’t watched Colt in years. Less silly but still unorthodox.

Jurassic Express beats Mike Reed and Ryan Rembrandt. Good for a squash. The Express look like two guys with chemistry having a blast.

Private Party pin Lee Johnson and Musa. A more competitive match. Private Party is arguably the most athletic tag team today. Johnson was either knocked out, injured, or sells better than 90% of wrestlers today.

10 defeats Jon Cruz. Big squash match but neither man got a chance to really show what they can do. Brodie Lee comes out to applaud 10.

Fenix beats Alan Angels. Surprisingly good match. Angels got in a lot more offense than I expected.

Kris Statlander pins Dani Jordan. Why have I not been watching Statlander?! She’s amazing. Big Bang Theory is a sick finisher.

Orange Cassidy beats Jason Cade. Cade plays with Orange, which is what makes Cassidy’s matches great. Entertaining as hell.

Dr Britt Baker, DMD beats Skyler Moore. Britt is an incredible heel and is putting everything into her work. Just look at her gear compared to other wrestlers. The Lock Jaw is an awesome finisher.

Jimmy Havoc (with Kip Sabien and Penelope Ford) beats Luther in a No DQ match. Kip and Penelope interfere. Some crazy weapons spots. Real sick chair bump.

I usually put what match or segment is must see but in this case, it depends on the wrestling fan. If you like women’s wrestling start getting familiar with Statlander and Baker. If you want silly stuff I would suggest Orange Cassidy’s match first then Jurassic. For athletic there’s Fenix and Private Party. For hardcore there’s Havoc and Luther. Go with your personal preference.
