Some interesting things happened on NXT last night. There’s another pay per view in one week. I’m not sure what’s going on or what to predict anymore. But to be honest, despite trying new things like ThunderDome and two events on successive Sundays, WWE falls into predictable spots. So let’s guess what will happen tonight.

The Street Profits (WWE Raw tag team champions) vs. Andrade and Angel Garza (with Zelina Vega).

I don’t think the Street Profits need the tag team titles. I do think Team Zelina Vega would do very well with some gold. Add some legitimacy. Give them a bit more push. This wouldn’t be a bad time to make the switch.

Winners and new champions: Andrade and Angel Garza.

Drew McIntyre (WWE Raw champion) vs. Randy Orton.

Randy does not need another title. We just got away from having a part time champion for the last 3 or so years. Drew is doing well, gets good YouTube videos, and I think it’s worth giving him more time with the title.

Winner and still champion: Drew McIntyre.

Apollo Crews (US champion) vs. MVP.

I think as the Hurt Business continues it’s going to make a lot of sense for them to give these guys some more gold. MVP should hold it for a time, and we’ll see where the faction goes next. But he made that new title, he deserves to hold it at some point.

Winner and new champion: MVP.

Dominik Mysterio (with Rey Mysterio) vs Seth Rollins (with Murphy) in a Street Fight.

I don’t care that he’s fighting for his dad. Or that he’s a legacy. Or how long he’s been training. Dominik is too new to defeat a multi time world champion in his first match. Street Fight or not.

Winner: Seth Rollins.

Sasha Banks (Raw women’s champion) (with Bayley) vs. Asuka.

Bayley (Smackdown women’s champion) (with Sasha Banks) vs. Asuka.

There’s no way Asuka holds both titles. There’s also no way she doesn’t win one. So which one? I think Sasha vs Bayley with Sasha going after a title makes much more sense than the reverse. So I’m guessing Sasha helps Bayley win. Bayley leaves Sasha to fend for herself. Asuka wins the Raw title. Sasha and Bayley finally start their feud.

Winner: Asuka wins Raw title.

Winner: Bayley keeps Smackdown title.

Braun Strowman (Smackdown champion) vs. The Fiend Bray Wyatt.

I think it’s time to stop this experiment with Braun. This will be a No DQ match and I think that will be in favor of the Fiend. Hopefully both men go on to something else from here.

Winner and new champion: Bray Wyatt.

Mandy Rose vs Sonya Deville. No DQ. Loser leaves WWE.

This was a different match before Sonya’s home invasion and near kidnapping. I think she’s taking some time off to deal with legal matters. I wouldn’t blame her if she moves too. She’ll be back refreshed and there will be some silly storyline reason for it. But for now, Sonya is going to go away for a little bit to deal with all too real life.

Winner: Mandy Rose.
