The third THIRD weekend in a row with a wrestling pay per view. Unlike the last two on the $10 a month no third party deals real name owning WWE Network, this one from All Elite Wrestling is going to cost real money. Will it be worth it? Will exciting things happen? Can I predict winners and losers? Let’s see.

Jon Moxley (AEW champion) vs MJF (with Wardlow).

Absolutely no way MJF is seen as a world champion yet. There have only been two champions so far, and both were former WWE world champions. AEW will eventually put the belt on a home grown talent but its not tonight.

Winner: Jon Moxley.

Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy in a Mimosa Mayhem match.

If OC doesn’t win then what was the point of any of this? Also with it being pinfall, submission, or thrown into the tank – Jericho can lose but still look strong.

Winner: Orange Cassidy.

Kenny Omega and Adam Page (AEW tag team champions) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) (with Tully Blanchard).

It’s time right? It’s time for the champions to split. The only problem I see is WWE split Bayley and Sasha this week. I’m sure FTR are two calm guys that wouldn’t mind being promised the tag titles tonight then later told it has to be put off for awhile thanks to WWE booking.

Hikaru Shida (AEW womens champion) vs. Thunder Rosa.

I’m very excited to see Thunder Rosa get her shot and I think she could do well in AEW, but it’s not happening tonight. She will look strong, it will be good, and I can see a title change in a rematch. Just not tonight.

Winner and still champion: Shida.

21 Man Casino Battle Royal. Winner gets a title shot.

Darby Allin vs. Lance Archer vs. Brian Cage vs. Ricky Starks vs. Pentagon Jr. vs. Rey Fenix vs. The Butcher vs. The Blade vs. Eddie Kingston vs. Shawn Spears vs. Billy vs. Austin Gunn vs. Jake Hager vs. Santana vs. Ortiz vs. Chuck Taylor vs. Trent vs. TBA.

There’s a lot of guys here I could see getting the shot, or even winning the title. My heart says Eddie Kingston. I think his new stable vs Moxley could be great. But my brain says creative will go for another former WWE star in the next title program.

Winner: Jake Hager.

The Dark Order (Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana, Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) vs. Matt Cardona, Scorpio Sky, and The Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall) (with Allie).

Dark Order for sure, but I’m wondering how. I say Cardona turns. He doesn’t join the Dark Order but he does feud against Cody.

Winners: Dark Order.

Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson).

Winners: Young Bucks. There’s no point in writing up thoughts. This is a given.

Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara. Broken Rules match. If Matt Hardy leaves, he has to leave AEW.

I see this being some grand Hardy idea. He will lose. Come back as some other persona. Sammy gets a big win.

Winner: Sammy Guevara.

Britt Baker (with Rebel) vs. Big Swole. Tooth and Nail match.

No way Britt loses her comeback match.

Winner: Britt Baker.

Pre Show: Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) vs. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) .

I was going to say Private Party, but I think Dark Order winning here, and with two guys that were just signed, would help build up the night’s other Dark Order match.

Winners: The Dark Order.

 

So how did I do? I felt this was easier to predict than WWE has been lately. But that doesn’t mean I’m right. The two shows have different feels and this one felt very predictable. But we will see later tonight.
