Damian Priest (North American champion) vs Johnny Gargano.

I think Gargano might be in a spot now to help make other guys look good. Teach them a few things. Priest needs some more work and I think he’s improved a lot since winning the title. Makes sense to keep it on him.

Winner: Priest.

Io Shirai (NXT Women’s champion) vs Candice LeRae.

Candice is getting this title eventually. I just don’t think it’s time to take the belt off of Io. She’s one of the best in the world right now and I think the belt is stronger with her holding it longer.

Winner: Io

Finn Bálor (NXT champion) vs Kyle O’Reilly.

I really want Kyle to win. I think it would be a shock. I think you could start 3 fresh feuds with the rest of the Undisputed Era being jealous. I think he would be charismatic as hell with the belt. But I don’t think WWE thinks the same.

Kushida vs Velveteen Dream.

Kushida. Get that other guy off tv.

Winner: not Dream

Santos Escobar (Cruiserweight champion) vs Isaiah “Swerve” Scott.

Swerve is very impressive and has a lot of potential to be a star. But Santos came out of no where with this gimmick and has been 100 as the kids say. Let’s see how much he can do. If Santos keeps showing an upside he’s only losing this when he gets brought up.
