It’s time for one of the biggest and most exciting pay per views of the year! Seriously, I’m looking forward to tonight’s All Elite Wrestling event more than any other show recently. My usual wrestling watching friends have planned our night around this show. I’ll be tuning in to the pre show live at 7 and of course the main show at 8. This is also a heavily rumored show. Who will debut? What will happen? I have many matches where I’m not going to pick my favorites, as much as I wish they would win. So, on to the predictions. Again this is who I think will win based on where I think AEW’s stories are going, not who I want to win.

Pre show:

Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, and Wheeler Yuta) and Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) (with Marko Stunt) vs. Hardy Family Office (Matt Hardy, Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) and The Hybrid 2 (Angélico and Jack Evans).

Big 10 man tag team match to start the show. This is going to be a really fun match to get the crowd excited, and that effects my thoughts here. The face team has to win. Make it close, make them fight for it. But with Orange Cassidy and Jurassic Express in the first match of the night, give the crowd something to get into. Make them go nuts. Have them sing and cheer.

Winners: Best Friends and Jurassic Express.

Nyla Rose vs. Thunder Rosa vs. The Bunny vs. Big Swole vs. Tay Conti vs. Diamante vs. Penelope Ford vs. Red Velvet vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Emi Sakura vs. Jade Cargill vs. Kiera Hogan vs. Abadon vs. Leyla Hirsch vs. KiLynn King vs. Rebel vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Anna Jay vs. Riho vs. Skye Blue vs. TBA.

The women’s battle royal for a future title match! Okay, a lot of names can be taken out because some of the women just aren’t at a certain level to make the fans excited for a future match. That’s nothing against any of them, just the way the booking goes down some times. Thunder Rosa is probably a favorite going into this because fans want to see a rematch between her and current champion Britt Baker. But Anna Jay, Jade Cargill, Nyla Rose, and Tay Conti have all had attention recently. The heavily rumored TBA is a debuting Ruby Rose, formerly known as Ruby Riott. I would love that and if she does debut, could see her winning. However, I’m going with one of the next AEW figures I plan on buying.

Winner: Thunder Rosa.

Jon Moxley vs. Satoshi Kojima.

Nothing against Kojima but I don’t see one of AEW’s biggest stars losing unless Kojima is suddenly full time in All Elite. Winner: Mox.

Paul Wight vs. QT Marshall (with Aaron Solow and Nick Comoroto).

Bathroom break match. The former Big Show wins. Is there anyone excited for this match?

Chris Jericho vs. MJF.

If Jericho loses, he will retire from in ring competition. You know, I’m going to say that this isn’t done yet. MJF wins. Jericho retires and goes to full time announcing. But, in the future something will happen where MJF will beg Jericho to come back. Maybe he needs a partner. Maybe he needs revenger. Something will happen to get one more match out of this, and Jericho will win that one.

Miro (TNT champion) vs. Eddie Kingston.

I want Eddie to win so bad. So bad. But I don’t think it’s going to happen. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lana debuts tonight and I think she would be a great addition to everything Miro is doing in AEW. Rumor is this is the first match in a series and I’m good with that if Eddie wins the title by the end. But for now, it’s Miro’s match.

The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) (with Brandon Cutler) (tag team champions) vs. Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) (with Alex Abrahantes) in a Steel Cage match.

Spoiler for my upcoming picks. I think every PPV should have one title change, unless there’s another gimmick like the Royal Rumble. This is my pick for the only title change tonight. Winner: Lucha Brothers.

Dr Britt Baker D.M.D. (Women’s champion vs Kris Statlander.

Again, I really want Kris to win this match. She has been amazing since her come back. I think the AEW Women’s title needs to be fought after more and built more. But AEW loves Britt and I don’t think they’re taking the title off her yet. Winner: Britt Baker.

CM Punk vs Darby Allin.

There is no way Punk comes back and loses his first match. No way. But, to go out on a limb here. How great would it be if post match Daniel Garcia and 2.0 come out to beat everyone up and Bryan Danielson is the one to make the save?

Kenny Omega (AEW World champion) vs Christian Cage.

There is just no way Christian wins. AEW hasn’t had many quick title changes. I could see WWE doing a quick couple week or one month World title change, but not AEW. At least not yet. Plus it feels like Kenny along with Don Callis and this whole heel group is just now finding their groove. They need to run with it a little longer. Winner: Kenny Omega.
