There’s so much wrestling this week! I’m going to try to watch it all, maybe over the next week. I’m also going to try to predict all of the major shows as well. This card looks like lots of fun and is one of at least two shows today alone that I plan on watching. As always, this is who I think will win for storyline purposes, not who I want to win.
Moose (Impact world champion) and PCO vs Josh Alexander and Jonah.
I can’t wait for the Rebellion PPV and I think Josh pinning Moose here would be a great way to build up the card. Josh and Jonah win.
Ultimate X match: Trey Miguel (X division champion) vs Vincent vs Chirst Bay vs Jordynne Grace vs Rich Swann vs Blake Christian.
Is this for the X title? As fun as the show will be, the title isn’t changing on this show. Trey will sneak out with the victory.
Alex Shelly vs Mike Bailey.
Speedball keeps getting better and getting more attention. This will be a breakout match for him and Bailey should get the win here.
Chris Sabin vs Jay White.
I’m predicting a bad night for the Motor City Machine Guns. White will get the win here but I wouldn’t be shocked if it is the result of some interference and sets up a future tag team match.
The Briscoes vs the Good Brothers.
The Briscoes’ big match is later in the evening, which is crazy. I think they take the loss here because the Good Brothers are long-time Impact wrestlers. Personally, I would have the Briscoes win but I’m not the one signing people to contracts.
Eddie Edwards vs Tomohiro Ishii.
Eddie is being built up as the big heel for Impact so I don’t see him losing here, even to Ishii. That said, he’s also not winning clean. Honor No More will help Eddie win and Ishii will look strong.
Deonna Purrazzo will have a Champ Champ Challenge and everyone is in Dallas so this is too hard to predict. I’ll be watching out for it though.
Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green vs Mickie James and Nick Aldis.
Cardona’s titles are not on the line which is why this is a perfect way for Aldis to get some heat back. I think Aldis will pin Cardona because the women have their own story which will continue to the next Impact PPV.
The Influence (Knockouts tag team champions) vs Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans vs Havok and Rosemary vs Gisele Shaw and Lady Frost.
It took the Influence a long time to reach this level and I don’t see them losing the titles yet. It’s going to be close, and I think it will be a sleeper hit of the night. Influence will sneak in to steal the win after someone else hits a finisher. Side note, Lady Frost is a future Knockouts champion.
That’s one show down for this weekend! Let me know your thoughts and we’ll keep score too.
