It’s not a TakeOver, but it’s a huge NXT show. This one will be taking place at 1PM on Saturday.  A nice afternoon show for WrestleMania weekend. As always, my predictions are what I think will happen, not what I want to happen. Where are the NXT stories going after this weekend, and sometimes, are any of these wrestlers about to leave NXT for Raw or Smackdown? Let’s head down to ringside for my predictions. 

Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) (NXT Women’s tag team champions) vs. Raquel González and Dakota Kai

I love Toxic Attraction. I am a huge fan of Dakota Kai. And I really enjoyed Dakota and Wendy Choo teaming up. I’m also shocked that Raquel hasn’t been brought to Raw or Smackdown yet. Same for Dakota though. However, weren’t they supposed to get a shot at the WWE Women’s tag team titles after winning last year’s Dusty Cup? I think Raquel and Dakota not only win this match and the titles but are also a surprise either in the Women’s tag match at ‘Mania or they challenge the champions on the Raw after Mania. 

Carmelo Hayes (North American champion) (with Trick Williams) vs. Santos Escobar vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Grayson Waller vs. Cameron Grimes in a Ladder Match.

All of these guys are actually there or showing potential to be there. If Hunter was still booking NXT I would pick Cameron to win. However, I think Grayson wins and will continue his heel push eventually winning the NXT title within the next year too. 

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Tony D’Angelo.

I am sad to say I think this is it for Ciampa in NXT. I think he takes some time off but I expect to see him and Gargano team up as DIY at least once more, probably for an AEW PPV. Unfortunately all that also means Tony is probably winning. I don’t think he should, I don’t think he’s been around long enough to be the man who got Tommaso out of NXT, but I think that’s where we’re headed. 

Mandy Rose (NXT Women’s champion) vs. Cora Jade vs. Io Shirai vs. Kay Lee Ray.

When this was just Mandy vs Cora I actually thought Jade would win. A feel good story, maybe Paige is there for her too. Now that it’s a four way match I see Mandy stealing the win. Maybe she takes advantage of someone else’s move, or Toxic Attraction helps out. Either way, Mandy keeps the title and people will be pissed. 

Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) (NXT tag team champions) vs. The Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed and Julius Creed) (with Malcolm Bivens) vs. MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee).

The Creed Brothers win and are immediately challenged by whoever attacked them. It turns out to be MSK in disguise, and they begin their heel turn. 

LA Knight vs. Gunther.

Gunther needs to show who Walter was and why people cared. Knight can afford to take the loss. Gunther wins but Knight ends up taking a step up in this match.

Dolph Ziggler (NXT champion) vs. Bron Breakker.

Last week I thought Dolph would retain. That was before the Steiner Brothers were announced for the WWE Hall of Fame. Which means they’ll be right there. I think Bron wins and at least his dad, if not also his uncle, comes in to celebrate with him. It will then never be recognized on air and he won’t change his name.
