Before most major wrestling shows I’ll post my predictions. Not what I want to happen, but what I think will happen which will then build towards future stories and then on to the next event. However, this show only has 6 matches announced. For a three hour show. Sure, matches could be announced at the last minute. However, it feels like a throw away doesn’t matter show that not even the writers care about. I’ll do my best.
Charlotte Flair (Smackdown Women’s champion) vs Ronda Rousey. I Quit match.
I was shocked Ronda didn’t win at WrestleMania. There’s no way Ronda gives up to Charlotte. I also would not be surprised if Ronda keeps the Smackdown title until next year’s Mania and faces Becky at that show. Ronda wins the title.
Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins.
Cody just came back to WWE and is being built up towards the WWE title. This is only his second PPV match and it’s too soon for him to lose. Seth doesn’t get hurt by taking a loss. Cody wins.
Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) vs. The Bloodline (Roman Reigns and The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso)) (with Paul Heyman).
Neither the World, the Universal, or either brands’ tag team titles are on the line for this PPV. Actually only one title is on the line for this show. Then there’s Roman’s cryptic words after last night’s show. I’m going to say Drew pins one of the Usos. Roman technically takes a loss without getting pinned. Whichever Uso takes the pin can take a loss but not hurt their future tag title unification angle because Drew is not involved in that contest.
AJ Styles vs Edge in a No Disqualification match.
We should really be caring about this match but the build up has been horrible. Damian Priest will get involved. Maybe a new member to Judgment Day. All of it means Edge gets the win here.
Happy Corbin vs Madcap Moss.
I can’t explain how much I don’t care. I’m going to say Moss gets the win and that’s it for these two so both can move on to another feud after this show.
Bobby Lashley vs Omos (with MVP).
Lashley should win but he won’t. If Omos is going to remain with WWE then he needs to start getting some victories and looking like a threat in singles competition. MVP makes a lot of sense with him, much more so than with Lashley. Omos will get the win here.
I hope something else is announced. Right now I’m planning on having this show on TV tonight but doing other things while it airs. Is anyone else watching this tonight?
