Story: Joe Brusha, Ralph Tedesco, Dave Franchini & David Wohl. Writer: Joe Brusha. Artwork: Guillermo Fajardo. Colors: Walter Pereyra. Letters: Taylor Esposito (of Ghost Glyph Studios). Published by Zenescope.
This comic showed up for free in my email because I subscribed to the Zenescope emails to see all of the cool covers, merchandise, and sales. This mini free issue was included back in July and honestly, Man Goat and the Bunnyman had not been on my radar. I saw it on the shelves, but passed on by. What a mistake that was. This short issue had me into the characters, engrossed in their story, and wondering what will happen next. The art really walks the line of how serious and ridiculous this idea is simultaneously. Bunnyman has his birthday with family and friends. There are some secrets and some revelations, and then a cliffhanger that things might get even worse. All in 12 pages. I’m going to keep an eye out for more issues of this comic and if you’re looking for something enjoyable and absurd to read, I’d recommend this title.
