Holy crap this is a packed show. By the time this airs I’ll have already watched two other wrestling shows. I don’t expect this to be over before midnight, maybe even 1 am. That said, let’s get down to predictions. As always this is who I think will win to further the AEW stories, not who I want to win. There are 15 matches tonight so I’m not going to go into great detail for every match.
Pre show:
Tomohiro Ishii vs. Eddie Kingston.
Eddie has to win especially after the shitty way that his feud with Jericho ended.
Pac (AEW All Atlantic champion) vs. Kip Sabian.
I overall like Kip and I’m happy the box story is over. But how does one go from in a box for a year to having a title shot? PAC wins this one.
Hook (FTW champion) vs. Angelo Parker.
Again, much like PAC, I don’t see a new champion losing right away to someone who hasn’t been built up to title level beforehand. Hook wins.
Jericho Appreciation Society (Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara) (AAA mixed tag champions) vs. Ruby Soho and Ortiz.
Now this one is different because Ruby and Ortiz won on Rampage. I see Ruby and Ortiz winning, becoming new champions, and it will be some sort of punishment to Sammy as well in light of recent actions.
Main show:
Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho.
Man, this could go either way. I’m going to say Jericho wins because one, it’s Jericho. Also because it will be some sort of shady ending which will cause Daniel Garcia to be disgusted by his actions and turn.
This will be really good but it’s AEW vs ROH and Impact. Team AEW wins.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Wheeler Yuta vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Rey Fénix vs. Rush vs. Andrade El Idolo vs. Dante Martin vs. TBD in a Casino Ladder Match, the winner of which receives a future AEW World title match.
Tag teams, Dante, and who knows or a current world champion. Claudio gets the win.
Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland) (AEW tag team champions) vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster).
I would love the Acclaimed to win here but I don’t think they do. Swerve wins.
Ricky Starks vs. Powerhouse Hobbs.
This might be the most emotional match of the night and very well built up throughout. Ricky will barely get the win but it will be awesome when he does.
The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson)) vs. “Hangman” Adam Page and The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) in the tournament finals for the new AEW Trios titles.
The whole point of putting off these titles was waiting for Kenny to come back, right? If that’s the whole point then Kenny’s team must win.
Jon Moxley (AEW World champion) vs. CM Punk.
Punk turns heel, maybe he even gets a group with him, and wins the title from Mox. Toni Storm vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Hikaru Shida for the interim AEW Women’s championship.
Toni was rumored to win the title from Thunder and I think she should still win it here. Plus Toni vs Thunder to unify the belt later is the obvious future match.
House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) vs. Darby Allin, Sting, and Miro.
With aloof the rumors about Black I think the safer bet here is Darby, Sting, and Miro get the win.
Jade Cargill (TBS champion) vs. Athena.
I am a big fan of Athena but I don’t think she’s the one to defeat Jade. Problem is, I don’t know who will beat her. Maybe we’ll figure that out by the next PPV.
Jungle Boy vs. Christian Cage.
Luchasaurus comes out, turns heel, joins Christian, and causes Jungle Boy to lose.
Wardlow and FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs. Jay Lethal and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley).

Okay, quick and dirty picks for this packed show. Time to get some caffeine and get ready for Labor Day of Wrestling!
